Implement peace building programs requires effective institutional capacity and resources; the staff of AMALNA must have adequate skills, competencies to conceptualize, develop and implement projects. This Strategic response Plan recognizes the need to build confidence among AMALNA donors, funders, beneficiaries and stakeholders by implementing projects professionally as well as account for finances diligently and by reporting progress appropriately. This plan requires the organization to identify internal gaps associated with its staffing capacity and design interventions geared towards capacity strengthening of the staff to perform their duties better.
The plan also proposes a robust Quality control and Quality Assurance system with clear timeframes and costs specifications. To provide strategic support to the organizations’ programs and projects, this strategy calls for a planned way to strengthen the competencies of Board members, the Board and an annual appraisal of the Board and the Executive Director (ED) of AMALNA, the organization shall embark on a systematic program to facilitate Resource Mobilization, deployment and accountability.
