AMALNA in collaboration with Peace Tech Lab, is very successful in producing a peace building drama series for youth (‘Sawa Shabab’, Together Youth). The radio show is highly popular across the country and across the ethnic divide and evolved into a platform for voices of South Sudanese youth from across the country and in diaspora to enhance their national identity as South Sudanese, and to encourage them to take an active role in building the nation.
AMALNA in collaboration with Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) is successful in producing a new peace building radio drama (GATAKHOR; Crossing the river).
The United States Institute for Peace (USIP) and Peace Tech Lab (PTL)
The United States Institute for Peace (USIP) and Peace Tech Lab (PTL) was first and a significant source of funding for AMALNA South Sudan’s operations. USIP through its partner, Peace Tech Lab also provides AMALNA with technical support in programmes’ production and capacity building of AMALNA’s production team.
Norwegian People’s Aid
The Norwegian People’s Aid is a second important source of funding for AMALNA South Sudan’s operations. AMALNA South Sudan in 2017 received funding from Norwegian People’s Aid (NPA) for its operations in South Sudan including capacity building.
Local partners include community radio stations all over South Sudan, national civil society organizations, media support organization in south Sudan.
